First three lines bring up a good point. England certainly knows about being bombed from WWII and the WWII population was a tough, resilient bunch.

But what does the IRA have to do with anything? The IRA is the by product of the English having seized by conquest resource rich land in the North of Ireland centuries ago and more recent rampant racism by the descendants of those Protestant English and lowland Scots against the native Irish Catholics. The IRA, when it existed, wanted its land back. They didn’t want to stamp English culture out of England.

Irish/English relations are very strong these days, even despite the logistical mess with Brexit and a boundary/free border in the North. Things are getting better in the North, however. We just need some of those trashy low class loyalists to focus more on educating their young and less on creating bonfires made of 90% car tires, 5% Irish flags and 5% pictures of Pope Francis. There are plenty of respectable loyalists, however.

Now the average Irish person did not support the IRA and the average Irish person has nothing against England and English culture. I’d wager good money that no Irish person ever moved to England and demanded that centuries-old English pubs be closed down because pub culture is against their religion. Can you say the same about your recent migrants?

In fact, if you had actual IRA members living next door to you, they would want to see you educate your daughters. They would not think your daugters deserved to be raped because they wore clothing that revealed their shoulders or knees. Can you say that about your recent immigrants?

For the record, the IRA had a lower civilian casualty rate than the British army ever did, but that's a point for anither thread.

More kids are shot 'over there' than people dying from getting run over by a terrorist in a truck 'over here' that's for sure!!

People in Northern Ireland voted to stay British! The IRA used bombs instead of the ballot box! And I don't see ANY DIFFERENCE between IRA bombs blowing up innocent women and children in England and Muslim bombs blowing up innocent women and children in England! Both are disgusting, vile creatures, the IRA was heavily funded by US citizens, make of that what you will.

Overwhelming majority of IRA bombs targeted military, political and business sites. A bomb going off at a business when no one is there is different from Muslim fundamentalist and loyalist terrorists targeting and killing civilians. Look up the stats. Don’t lie and suggest the IRA targeted children. Were there a couple killed out of the thousands? you did learn math, didn’t you? what’s the probability? A couple too many clearly, but the Irish war for independence is one of the most just causes in history.

I feel pity for europe.

Yesterday the European news flashing the arrival of hundreths of Africans and middle easterners by boat to Valencia Spain.... now they found a new boat with 700 more

the problem will NOT stop because Europe keeps sending the message that it is ok to get on a boat and land there and they will give you money

there was even a video on youtube from an African guy giving Africans tips on what to say, what to claim to European agencies, so they could give you asylum.

tips on how to lie using body language and so on.

At the end, the guy goes like, be convincing, Europeans are stupd and they will believe you.

It would take a lot of effort to disallow oneself from realizing that this will happen.

The IRA bombs had nothing to do with Irish independence. Ireland was an independent country when they bombed the Hilton hotel, Ireland was an independent country when they bombed pubs in Guildford, Ireland was an independent country when they bombed the Arndale shopping centre in Manchester, Ireland was an independent country when they bombed the hotel in Brighton...........I could go on, it was terrorism just like the Muslim attacks and people going about their daily business were murdered just like the Muslim attacks. The fact that you are trying to justify IRA bombings in England sickens me, it would be like me justifying the 911 attacks in the USA.
