How do you think that the destroyed sections of Mariupol, Ukraine will be rebuilt after the war that is currently taking place there. Do you think the examples of rebuilding Warsaw, Rotterdam, Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Dresden after World War 2, Beirut after the Lebanese Civil War between 1975-1990, and Sarajevo after the Yugoslav Wars between 1975 and 1990 should be used as models for reconstruction of Mariupol. Hopefully, the city's locally famous landmarks and historic buildings such as the Old Water Tower will survive with little to no damage. Regardless, I think that a tower similar to the Garden in the Sky at the 2020 Expo in Dubai should be constructed in Mariupol as a symbol of rebirth. The use of trees would be beneficial as it has been proven greenery is good for one's health. This is particularly important as the people of Ukraine, particularly Mariupol have dealt with a lot of stress due to the combination of the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing war. https://virtualexpodubai.com/jubilee...den-in-the-sky
Well firstly Russia should be held responsible for all the damages and be forced to repay for everything (in one form or another) once a peace settlement is made. (All countries should pay for damages during war, including the US, maybe then countries will think twice before invading) That being said Mariupol didn’t really become a city until soviet times in the 30s, before then it was just a small town, so it has very little historical architecture and most of it is just uninspiring soviet blocks, so perhaps Mariupol should take the opportunity to completely overhaul everything and build modern buildings.

I only support that once the USA starts doing it before Russia, such as the damage to Afganistan, Iraq, Syria, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia right up to North Korea. BTW the US totally destroyed North Korean cities during the Korean war and never paid a cent to help pay for the damages there. the USA has caused more destruction in their wars than the Russians and Soviets since the end of the second world war.

At least one of the sites of vacant buildings in Mariupol that have been destroyed and have no significance should be replaced with possibly an observation tower like this one. This will help with dealing with mental problems that the people of the city have dealt with due to COVID-19 and the war. https://www.timeout.com/news/this-ec...ur-city-071520

Did you see the pictures??
There isn't much left of the city and Russian soldiers don't care about landmarks and historic buildings.
It's estimates that 90% of the buildings have been damaged and 40% destroyed.
Per UNESCO - at least 53 culturally important sites are damaged in Ukraine.

Don't assume Ukraine will be able to take it back. They need to kill Russian invaders first before they can talk about rebuilding.
