I will be flying from NJ to Munich, spend a week in Germany and then taking a train to Paris for several days.
From what I can find out online, I just need my Passport for all of this travel. Does anyone know if I need anything else as far as paperwork? Thanks.

Check with your travel agent and/or airline.

Been a few times.
All I needed was a passport.
But did get an international drivers license. But did not need it to rent a car in France.

Be careful of pick pockets at certain tourist areas. They are pros.

Only time I had a pick pocket problem was in Boston USA. She was a real pro. Never knew it happened except friend told me to check my pockets. Yep. She got all of my money. All $8.00 - all eight dollars.

Thanks. I won't be driving a car, I just needed info. to enter the countries. Yes, I heard there are pick pockets but the handbag I use goes over my hear and will be in front and under my jacket so they would have to assault me to get to it.

If you have serious doubts, call the airline of your flight, and ask for the name of the person who tells what you need. If you have a problem, the airline will take responsibility. When you leave, the airline will not board you if you lack any requirement.

You might need covid vaccination certificate or a negative covid test to get onto an airplane. Check with the airline you have booked.

Check the German immigration site to see if you need Covid vaccine to enter the country. Might as well double check while you are on their website to verify that you don't need a visa. I don't think you do, but I'm not the one who will be admitting you into Germany.

My answer assumes you are a US citizen, traveling on a US passport. The answer might differ if you are of different nationality, or a US LAPR.
