What I love about the movie is that it shows what is really necessary to build a great looking and massive physique. Sure chemical supplementation was involved for the highlighted bodybuilders, but hard work played a crucial part. Regarding what Arnold was talking about - I love the workout pump, it is like a runners high. It's almost as good as the feeling I have knowing I leave the gym stronger than when I entered. I think if more people worked out to the point of experiencing the pump feeling, more people would make pumping iron a regular part of their life.
I also need to comment - 85 lb dumbbell flys (I think that's what Arnold had in each hand) is absolutely insane... I've never seen anyone do those in any of the gyms I've been to... wow; that's a ton of weight!
The other night on ABC Nightline, it was about how Arnold was in trouble with his re-election for governor. Arnold said that he never gives up. He mentioned how it took him the 11th time before he could bench press 500 lbs. Amazing!
I wish I could bench 500 lbs maybe by the end of the year lol im up to 465 I think I might be able to do 470 now I havent tried to do my max in about a month.
