Has anyone used these shaker weights? Is this just a fad or are they really worth a purchase? Would really like to hear from some of you that have used them and those knowledgeable on the way these are supposed to work.

Are those the ridiculous looking phallac type devices that are shown on late night infomercials? If so, you can try them out yourself for free by walking into your local Sport Chalet, Sports Authority or Dicks Sporting Goods and trying them out for yourself to see if you like them.

There's been threads on this before. No they don't work. Holding something in your hand that is vibrating is not going to build muscle or improve your fitness level. Seriously think about it! Just another fad to bilk lazy unmotivated people who think they can exercise from the comfort of their recliner out of more money.

I love how it is mostly women holding these weights close to their face while it jacks back and forth. I honestly can't stop laughing when I see the commercial.

For exercising, they are about as effective as pole dancing.

As a marital aid, they are also about as effective as pole dancing.
