Keep up the good work. And keep in mind that standard core exercises will work fine. You don't need gimmicks. Just stick with the tried and true.

Pilates is the original core-strengthening program. It centers around building core strength.

Lot of really good advice given here. But again, you do not need anything right now but to just continue the P90x. The way its set up you wont have time to do any additional exercises (and you wont need to). Plus, you'll need the time to recover/rest from your P90x.

Again, good advice given by most here, but the program you are already on (and paid for) is superior to most so just stick with it and you WILL get results.

Awe, you are awesome and I appreciate your motivation. There are a couple of the P90X ab-ripper exercises that I cannot do. One of them is the lifting of the legs and upper body for the side of the mid-section. I cannot remember the name right now but will get back to you on that. I just cannot get my legs off the ground on my side and it is frustrating me. Thanks for your help.

Just stick with the P90X routine. Last summer, I went to a reunion of people I worked with 20 years ago. There was one woman there who must be about 45 years old. She had two kids, and her body is just amazing right now from doing P90X. Just awesome abs and upper arm definition.
