I've tried it, a couple dozen times. I find that it's really great about integrating your core into everything you do, much more so than anything else. For that reason - because I hate working my core - it's a really great ass-kicker. But I would not recommend TRX alone, unless you literally cannot do anything else in such a small space.
I came across this website: Smart Link - Make your suspension training smart!. Has anyone tried this device? I’m thinking of buying it but not sure.

I agree with this.
I've tried it as well and it is excellent for working the core. What's good about it is there are modifications for those who aren't able to do the full motion/hold. It hits everywhere though. I was somewhere last night and happened to stand in front of a studio that had it. There was a tv monitor pointing outside that kept replaying the same demo video and I noticed there are a lot of new exercises added since I did it, some incorporating plyometrics, linear movements, etc.
If I had the space at home, this is one of the first things I would get.
I have done it at the Y and loved it. It is a great workout but I am not sure about doing it at home. I worry about the safety of attaching it to a door or wall. It is really secure at the Y and there is always someone there to help if there is a problem.
We use the TRX at my gym in addition to many other types of exercise. I've used it mainly for inverted rows, push-ups & hamstring curls..so not a whole lot, but I still like it a lot. It's one of the exercises that have helped my pull ups. I don't have my own, but it looks like it would be easily transportable.
