Don't neglect military presses/strict overhead presses as an important part of your routine. They are a fantastic upper body movement. Dips as well.

My boyfriend is tall also and does pushups and pullups which seem to work really well for him...especially the pullups. As someone else said earlier I agree with the pushups too. Have you tried swimming? Swimmers look pretty darn good :-))
