Less than a week ago I noticed a pain when I woke up and now whenever I lift my left arm I feel it. More in the evenings. Thing is I can still do pretty much everything in the gym that I normally do. Sometimes when I do pull ups on the bar I can feel a tug of pain.
The pain is just under the collar bone and runs from the shoulder towards the neck along the collar bone. I've iced it and that helps but wondering if there is anything more that I can do to get rid of the pain. Anyone? Thanks.

You might find some advice by posting in the health/wellness forum instead of fitness - it sounds like you have some kind of injury.
to vague..someone would have to observe your posture, your movement, the way you exercise, musculature and some kind of history before you started having pains to have any ideas on how to help you
You can do two things. See a doctor. If the pain doesn't go away that's what I would do.
Second, ignore that advice and self diagnose and treat. If you want to go that route google shoulder pain. Try to find out what your specific injury is. Then look up physical therapy for it.
Found a good site that asks you yes, no questions about the pain and it seems that I have bursitis in the shoulder; Health information for the whole family -- familydoctor.org Ice is recommended as is motrin and sometimes cortisone shots are given if no signs of infection. Thanks for the input.
