I just started Jillian Michael's 30 day shred on the 1st of Oct. I took yesterday off because my calf muscles were really tight. I did Level 1, then 2, and today 3.

Has anyone had luck with this video? I like it because I feel sore afterwards, so to me, it is working.

I'm not looking to lose weight, just looking to tone and add muscle.

Haven't looked at this program specifically, no.

"Toned" = losing fat, not necessarily weight. To get more "toned" you need to drop bodyfat %. If you're also adding muscle, your weight might not change, or you might actually gain. Do yourself a favor, throw the scales out the window. Judge your improvement by the amount of work/time you are capable of, the way your clothes fit and what your bodyfat measurements say.

I would like to gain muscle, mostly. I don't have a scale. My clothes are fitting snugger, pants especially. I know with Age, you metabolism slows. I need to keep it vamped up because I love food. I am at a healthy weight now, just need more muscles. I run too, well....walkjogrunsweatwalk
