When I see someone poking their butt out in a pose like this it looks like they don't have what they wish they did. If they were standing normal (not posing like this which I know is popular but you can't walk around like that without looking like a cat in heat lol) they might have muscle and firmness but no real curves. http://hypnodude.hubpages.com/hub/Su...ks-Best-Friend

strictly my guess, but I guess that you will be largely (no pun intended) limited by genetics. Sure, exercise will make muscle mass, but only to a point. Look at most of the Kenyan runners--they might be running 100+ miles per week, yet they still have very skinny legs. American runners tend to have much bigger calves in particular, (but also tend to be slower than the Kenyans).

That, I suspect, is true. But I have killer calves and thighs so I thought I must have it in me to make a killer butt too.

I was just told I might be working out too much, making my butt smaller; that I shouldn't work out every day but, rather, every other day or so. Is that true? I usually already take Sundays off (and I even feel guilty about that), isn't that enough?

Mostly not possible. You either have one or you don't based on genetics. The only way you can get a booty is to eat/gain weight or get butt implants. Mines came with genetics, happened a couple of months after I became a senior in high school it literally came out of nowhere! I did not change my diet or anything drastic. I have a love/hate relationship with it now.

I can't wear cute little skirts because the skirt will become way shorter in the back then it is in the front. My options are limited because I always have to buy "stretch" pants and jeans. They are downsides to having a large booty...

Of course you can and really, anyone who states otherwise is wrong.

I'm a guy and have been bulking (caloric surplus with heavy weight training)...the goal wasn't exactly to firm up and grow my as$, but it happened

From my experience, you need to focus on glute exercises with weight.

The one I've noticed to work best (for me) has been Romanian Deadlifts...you really need to squeeze the glutes through and at the top of the lift. Give squats a try too (really squeezing the glutes through the the lift and especially at the top). Give a stairmaster a try too...I'd say with a higher resistance.

Really, just research some glute exercise and use a good amount of resistance...you've got to beat up the muscle so it can be repaired and grow

This is encouraging. I do a lot of butt exercises, squats, some weights and I only use the treadmill on full incline. I use whey protein and I do squeeze when working out. Maybe I'm just being impatient.

Of course its possible. Some the most amazing butts Ive ever seen on women were MADE through exercise and eating right and not just from genetics (like Kim K.).

I ask this question, do you want to make it BIGGER as in go from 32" to like 38" or do you want to make it bigger as in the "big butt" that guys typically describe a woman with a great backside? Or, do you just want to make it rounder and more bubbly? All of this is possible with the proper type of exercise, the proper weight of resistance training and proper nutrition.

Take Jessica Beil as an example, her butt was MADE by her training for the Blade movie she was in. Lucky her that she kept up with training and still has one of the best butts in hollywood. J-Lo's butt was also made. She was really chunky before (and I loved her more then) but through exercise she lost the chunkyness but kept her golden butt and became famous for it.

W.B., are very skinny now? What are your measurments? Or at least, your butt measurements in inches? Please do not mention dress/pants size because that will tell us nothing.

That butt is not attractive to me. Its just small and not shapely on an otherwise fit looking chick. Not a good butt.

I want rounder. No, I'm not skinny. But I'm not fat either. I used to be too skinny, then I used to be too fat til about 2 years ago. I haven't taken my measurements in years. I'll do that. By butt measurements you just mean to measure my hips, right?
