So let's see:
half a portion of Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara =
720 calories
1500 grams sodium

three breadsticks (since you said you ate a few):
450 calories
1200 grams sodium

With over 100 carbohydrates just for those two menu items, NOT including the salad - and if there were croutons in the salad then you had more carbs, more calories, and LOTS more sodium

[ mod cut: no need to be so drastic ] You're begging to die, eating like that with a high blood pressure problem.

That's a small start but you will need to cut back and be much more careful about choices in order to lose weight.

Think of it this way.....if it tastes good it is bad for you and you should try not to eat it. I know I will get blasted for saying that but from the kinds of food you are used to and like it is true. In order for you to lose weight you will have a long road ahead of you. You can do it....one day and one change/step at a time. If you try to go too drastic you will become discouraged and quit.

Read up on nutrition. Look at the charts to see how many calories you need per day in order to lose weight. Then you need to track "everything" you eat and all the calories you consume...every day. Yeah it is a pain and it isn't easy(it will actually suck until your body adjusts to eating a new way) but it is really the only way you will know what a serving is and how much you are "really" eating.

Good luck at the therapist.

Maybe you need to move out to a different place. Far and away from your destructive family. Maybe you find a job there. Maybe it will change your whole life.... Think about it.

And NO! Walmart food is FAR from being decent.

How is the food at Walmart different than the food at any other grocery store?

The comparison of Chain Restaurants with Walmart has nothing to do with Walmart food. It has to do with the demographics of Walmart customers.

Walmart has the reputation of attracting trailer trash and low-rent and welfare families and various and sundry other "less privileged" people of society.

People who believe that chain restaurants are "fancy restaurants" fit the same demographic - because they just don't know any better.
