Don't you get it? THAT's exactly what happens at this this gym. BTW I lived in Albuquerque from 1985 to 1995. Had a house right on the west side of the Ladera Golf Course and worked for GE. How are things out there?

If you're not actively using the plates and they're on the post, they're free game. Easy solution is to not hog plates. Doesn't matter if they're strewn about the place like glitter, only take the plates you are going to actively use. When you're done, put them back and get the next ones you want/need.

Ah, not nice.

Albuquerque is okay. I've only been here a few years - stationed at Kirtland. I've been around that area (Ladera) quite a bit - although it seems that it's just a giant suburb now (just like the rest of ABQ).

Since I have only been here two years, I can say that ABQ is full of UFC wannabes, although on the other side of the spectrum ABQ is full of the artistic type. What a dichotomy.

Overall, not too impressed.

If I wanna use weights I put them on the barbell I'm gonna lift. It's that simple.
If I want to take them on/off rapidly for a superset of different exercises or a pyramid in one exercise I'll put them on the lifting mats next to me.

Hanging them on the weight posts=free for all to take, otherwise what weights are they supposed to take? lol. I can't "own" thousands of lbs of weight just because I'm at a nearby lifting station to that weight post.I'm never going to benchpress 2350 lbs~or whatever the average ammounts of weight on those things ammoun to anyway so what's the point of putting dibs on that much weight?
