Amen to that. I'll see your 50 pounds and raise you another 90! Yes, I changed my diet as well, and added strength training and yoga, but my primary exercise always will be walking. I went from huffing and puffing up one flight of stairs to walking a half-marathon and hiking 20+ miles a day.

My top tips include:

turn off you tv's- get moving, somehow, anyhow; the goal is to burn calories

don't buy sweets & junk food

if you do have to have a treat make the low cal version, homemade

limit how often you eat out- way too easy to get carried away

visualize yourself at your desired weight

use affirmations

don't hang out with people that want to sabotage you

try new things-yoga, dance, whatever floats your boat

when you reach your goal treat yourself to new clothes

don't get lazy- or you'll gain it right back
