I am thinking about putting some rubberized flooring down for my home gym The two main pieces of equipment are a treadmill and a set of weights. I ran across "Perfection Floor Tiles" at Lowes. Anyone have any thoughts on this product, or have a recommendation for a similar product?

No experience with Perfection.

This is what I used for my garage gym:

The MDUSA Diamond Plate Rubber Mats (4ft x 6ft)

You can get these exact same mats for about 50% less if you just go get some horse stall mats. I built a gym in my last house and got them from my local Tractor Supply for $35/ea. I used a sharp razor to cut them. Actually, the razor blades dull quickly cutting the 3/4" rubber mats so I went though lots of blades, but it's much easier to use a fresh blade. My gym was about 400 sq. ft. and these were wall to wall and it looked great.

I learned about the horse stall mats from the crossfit website.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. BriansZ, do you use adhesive to keep these in place? Did you place them wall to wall? Thanks.

I trimmed them up to the wall and then placed baseboard along the bottom of the wall. I didn't using any tape, the weight of the mats keeps them from moving. They probably weigh 80 lbs each and they are awkward. Rolling them up and carrying them was easiest for me. I moved over 20 of these from my truck to the basement gym and that was a workout in itself.
