I am the one who started this thread and I had not posted anything in a while but today I saw a new thing so it is only fair that I share this with my fellow forum members. There was this older guy this morning who showed up and started doing dumbell culrs with his jacket still on it was a s he came straight from the outside and started curling. It was nice and warm in there so to me that was strange. The he started walking from one side of the weigh room to another while curling.

Not strange at all. I applaud him for dropping in and banging out a few sets. I do that all the time at the office gym, sometimes still in necktie.
How about "not using the machine for its intended purpose" guy?
Never mind every leg machine in the gym is empty, there will always be some hippy, most likely wearing those toes'y shoes, on his back on the seat of the shoulder press machine trying to half-azz it into a leg press workout Really? You think everyone is going to look in amazement thinking gosh, how innovative and creative...why didn't "I" think of that. O wait, I know why, there is a leg machine f'n five feet away

There is a guy at my gym who shouts 1 or 2 word phrases every couple of minutes, usually while on the treadmill. Sometimes he will yell out a number and then throw in something random. I'm new at this gym and actually thought the treadmill must respond to voice commands, like some kind of blue tooth enabled treadmill. Lol... Anyhow, every time this guy yells, it scares me because it completely startles me. One time he was working out behind me while I was on the assisted pull up machine and he bellowed something like, "Peanut butter!" It scared the bejeebers out of me; I almost let go of the bars.
Finally I asked him about it. He said it keeps him motivated.
There is this guy at my gym that uses a towel to grab the ez curl bar when he does curls. Either his hands sweat profusely or he has an incredibly irrational fear or germs. Either way I find it very strange because he is the only one I have ever seen doing this.
There is a man in his mid 40's that wear 2 different sports shoes and also wears 2 different colored socks each time he comes in.
I find that strange, at first I thought he might be colored blind with the socks but his sport shoes are really different looking so that can't be the reason why he wears one brand on one foot and the other brand on his other foot. And it's not the same brand on the same foot all the time, I have seen him switch these around.
And his socks, one sock may be red and the other may be stripes, the next time it might be a black sock and a white sock. The rest of his clothes look normal, its just his feet, weird.
