I fail to understand how THAT could have ANY affect on relaxing the muscles. Perhaps it is a macho thing, or perhaps a sexual thing. It looks to be a total waste of time and money to me!
I did think it was kinda funny when the snake came around his head & peeked at him.

I've shared a couch (while watching TV and drinking beer) with three people and a 10-foot albino python stretched out on our collective laps, so I know the sensation of a snake in a relaxed state of mind, slithering slowly on your person, can actually be relaxing. I wouldn't go so far as to recommend it for massage though. I don't think it'd do much to loosen muscles, as it would to relax your mind, as if in a meditative state.
