No matter what type of exercise I do - weights, cardio, pilates, even walking - I find that I'm hungry. I do eat, and I eat well, I just get hungrier on days I exercise.
Right after exercising I find I am less hungry. If I eat a small handful of nuts or an apple I'm not hungry for a while.
If I don't snack on something small right after I find I am much hungrier an hour or so later. Even so, don't listen too much to your hunger. Eat a little less than you think you want and wait for 30 min or so. You may find that was enuff.

yeah that has been my experience too. i have to try the handful of nuts idea.
Decreases my appetite. It's only when I start nibbling or snacking on high sugar or simple carbs that my appetite increases. On the days I've done double cardio (I.e., boot camp & a long walk), even though I may be hungry, I'm more exhausted & prefer sleep instead.
It increases mine, probably because the metabolism goes up. But I am MUCH LESS willing to eat sugar and junk food when I've run 3 miles earlier. I'd rather fill up on salmon and greens or something. When I work out, good, whole foods are what I crave.
