5'10 / 205 lbs / BMI 29.4 - so I am overweight according to BMI. However, I am as "fat" as I have been in about the last 6 months. I was recently measured at 12% bf. In order to get to a "normal" weight, I would have to get down to 170 lbs. I would look like a skeleton at 170. That, or I would have to lose a leg. BMI is great for population studies, but not too hot for individuals.

I love learning new things online - Google is our friend!
I chose college instead, but to each his own.

Yes. A BMI within 19-24 range, is considered normal.

I am 5"4 and 150 pounds, which is a bmi of ~24 and is considered overweight. I do have a little bit of a stomach and the remnant of my love handles, but only for a few weeks more.

I used to have a really high bmi when I weighed 200, but I've dropped 50 pounds over the past year or so.
