Who cares what an ideal look is? Who sets an ideal look?

There were only a couple things I cared about at 138 - running consecutive 5 minute miles, running 50 second quarter miles, getting laid, and graduating college. . All accomplished at that weight

BMI as the rough estimate rate 180 as 24.4. Overweight is 25.

At the high end or low end of the BMI you should check body fat percentage to see if it is healthy.
BMI is just a rough tool to flag if you should review your body fat percentage, diet and activity level.

Thumbs up for this post. All of you talking about weight/height should be automatically disqualified to ever speak about fitness again. Height and weight have no relation to your overall health, especially for athletes.

To the OP. Stop trolling the fitness forum. If you want advice to get fit, start posting some useful information. You must be willing to eat more than just cheeseburger subs, whatever the hell those are.

Weight DOES have some sort of meaning if you use it in combination with other information. Weight is just part of the info your need to use in order to have a complete healthy diet. Without knowing your weight you won't know how many calories your need, your protein needs, how to calculate your body fat, etc.

Athlete or not...that number is a factor that is part of the entire formula of fitness.

Cheeseburger subs are exactly what they sounds like. Cheeseburger on a sub bun.
So its like a mega cheese burger of 800 calories which is not a balanced intake.

As stated above, it depends on body composition. I am 5'10 and float between 210 and 215 lbs. Bodyfat is usually under 15% in the winter and under 10% in the summer. As you can see, it all depends on body composition.

How old are you? What is your actual diet like? What is your fitness routine? What are your goals?
