I LOVE running in hot humid temps. It should be 97 degrees here (Los Angeles/Valley) today and even now humidity is 87%. PERFECT running weather.
I get sick in heat, but typically evenings are in the upper 70's here during my hikes. Under all the CNJ forest shade though, it feels more like the low 70's which is Ideal weather.

I usually do my workouts indoors in an A/C gym during peak heat. There is lots of Eye candy in the NJ shore to motivate me.

You could if you added some new movements to your routine. As for IF CF is super difficult, it depends on the mentality of the "box" (CF gym) you go to. Most will "scale" back (or modify) the movement to the capability of the individual. I don't do CF, but I do know quite a few CF coaches including the website I referenced.

I don't think there is any movement/lift that is strictly considered crossfit, except for their misuse of the GHR machine and the emphasis on kipping pullups. There may be more, but I can't think of it right now.

There is alot of controversy....but....this isn't the right forum to discuss this...and it has been discussed a lot on CD

Maybe you could start a new thread on the subject since most of these are really old, and crossfit is more widely accepted now.

Wonderful workout yesterday:

A great session of weights followed by 4 miles of running.

Dad accompanied me for the running part, and I was surprised that he was able to keep up in spite of being 51 years old .
