Walked in the woods. I cut out a circuit and lined it with fallen logs. Fun and games. I've been running for the past couple of months on the treadmill. It feels good, and is a nice break from the elliptical, but it is making my a$$ HUGE and muscular. This is unacceptable. No more treadmill for me. Run only if chased.
I was going to do chest but a minor research project at work redirected from the weight room back to my cubicle. I've found if my mental preparation for a chest workout gets thrown off track I'm better off scrapping the plan and trying again another day so instead of chest I did a 4.6 mile run, followed by core and foam rolling. I'll do chest tomorrow. Thursday was my run day, so I'll be doing shoulders/back/bi that day.
Chest and biceps.
Chest 4 sets of 70 dumbbell presses with 15 seconds of rest between sets. 4 sets of alternating flys and push-ups with No rest between. Only 30lb Dumbbells.
Biceps, 4 sets of alternating chin-ups and hammer curls with no rest between. Single arm curls with 15lb Dumbbells, 15 seconds of rest between sets. 4 sets of preacher curls, with 50lb curling bar, 15 seconds rest between sets.
Cardio was a 2 mile walk and a 3 mile run while pushing my 1 yr old in his stroller.
