damn if I didn't overeat - weighed myself this a.m. and was near a long time low, so hopefully todays dinner won't but a big dent in the numbers - might have to do extra workout tomorrow.
I probably gained 12 lbs over the course of a week. I overate every single day. Tried all of the local restaurants and ice cream shoppes. Even had egg nog and soul food. And i can't blame carbs either because I ate a ton of meat too. I'm ok with the damage I've done. Set my goal of getting the lbs off
Yesterday I did about 40 minutes of free weights and Pilates in my basement gym. Today I warmed up for twenty minutes on elliptical, then did an hour of intense, clothes soaking, improvisational dance and ballet moves. I love that I can practice large leaps/grand here's across the studio floor at the YMCA. I had the whole floor to myself so really let loose. I wish we were allowed to videotape ourselves up there. When I let go my spins, turns, and leaps are so much better than when I make a conscious effort.
I also did 30 minutes of walking at work. Have managed to maintain my weight. Having a day off and a little extra sleep makes such a difference in my energy and motivation. I have a new strategy to not workout on ballet class days so I have more energy and focus for my classes.
I went walking today. I went an alternate route. I have no idea how long I walked. I know it was over an hour. I like to walk in this kind of weather. It helps clear your head.
I am glad to know I am not the only one who over indulged. It does not feel good. I am scared to get on the scale tomorrow.
Yesterday I had a good day of cardio and abs. Today just going to hike a few miles.
