wow - that brought memories - used to go to the swap meets all the time - Aloha Stadium used to have them and Pearl City Aiea at the drive-in Kam Hwy.....that one probably isn't around anymore.

6.4 miles, 8:37/mile pace. Day after tax season, and this CPA looks back and realizes he has played hard these past few months. Somehow, since jan 1st I've been able to run 458.84 miles. And, for the first time in many years (at least 7), I wasn't deathly ill (pneumonia 5 times and bronchitis 2) during tax season which put me on the shelf for several weeks.

We hadn't been in like a decade. Kam is gone, and Aloha has. the. exact. same. stuff.

I remember the fitness evaluator at my old gym trying to get me to do one push up at 225 lbs. I laid flat on the ground. I couldn't lift myself up. then he tried the modified push up, where I am on my knees. Couldn't do that either. that was my fitness low point. As time went on, I was able to do the modified push ups but then I just stopped. Well yesterday I decided to try some just for fun and I did it. Not modified either. I lifted myself off the ground and went up and down. guess it made sense considering I could easily do planks and my back/chest strength is better than before.
That’s awesome! Really come a long way.
