Bad advance. I don't konw what 'fall on your butt when you get low' means. . . but, the OP should not listen to this advice. It's intelligent to first ask what the experience with squats are... if they've been done. If someone can't squat their own body weight, there are other serious issues..

It's hard to believe, but some people have really flat butts and want to bulk them up.

Depending on your training level: squats wide stance/shoulder width stance, lunges, leg press (depends on foot placement, high on the skid with toes in upper corners wide), Stiff legged dead lifts squeezing the glutes as you execute. Proper form is key not so much the weight you use.

LOL. She actually means "nice" butt. The term has taken on a new meaning over the past 20-25 years or so, so it easily confuses the 55+ year crowd. If you hear someone say they want a "big butt" or "wow, she has a nice big butt" it doesn mean big as in gigantic. It means sexy now.

You know, kinda like when someone says another person is "hot" it doesnt mean they are "hot" in terms of they have a temperature or on fire, it means they are attractive. "Big Butt" has taken on a similar type meaning.

People say that Jessica Biel has a big butt, or most Brazilian women have big butts, or that sexy Modern Family tv show acctress has a big butt. All this means is that they are sexy and their butts are desired by both men and women.

Hope this provides you with the clarity you needed on this subject.

Go see a doctor before you start any exercise program, especially BEFORE you start doing squats
