You may find getting in shape with boxing won't make you need to drop 30 either. Twenty may be good enough if you are in really getting in shape and reducing your body fat along with your total weight.

Eat approximately 10 - 12 times your goal weight in calories, and you will lose around 1 - 2lbs per week.

So if your goal is to weigh 150, then start eating between 1500 - 1700 calories per day (or less).

Join Free Diet Plans at SparkPeople or Free Calorie Counter, Diet & Exercise Journal | MyFitnessPal.com (both are free), and use their online tools to keep track of your daily calories.

The only way you will know exactly how many calories you eat is by counting them each day, and the above websites make counting very simple.

One simple approach to dieting is to eat the same foods nearly every day.

Eliminate all fast food (McDonalds, etc), junk food (cake, candy, pie, ice cream, etc), foods high in sugar, deep fried foods (fried chicken, french fries), foods high in saturated fats, and all soda.
