Shredded? More like "emaciated." Four stand out but two apparently never existed.

Do you do any weighted ab exercises? I almost feel like often times some people don't think to do them.

Regular crunches with a 25-lb. plate on the chest, super-setted with unweighted bicycles, lying on back touching knees with alternate elbows.

everyone has a good set of abs hidden; its just a mater of removing the fat layer that is covering it.

True, but not everyone genetically has a 6 pack or 8 pack. Some people only have 4 defining abs with their lower abs be a larger singular type muscle.

This could be the OP's problem.

OP, have you ever had a 6 pack before? If you are unable now, it could be due to age and also being 100lbs lighter than you were at your max. When people lose a lot of weight it is often IMPOSSIBLE for them to ever get rid of that loose skin. Even with surgery, it's often still not tight enough to have good defined abs.

I'm 5'10 and about 205-210 lbs with around 10% or 11% BF. I do not have a "6 pack" but have a defined 4 pack with no lower ab fat and visible serratus muscles.

My genetics simply do not have a very defined 6 or 8 pack, or if I do, they are the very very last abs to come in and I would probably have to be very dehydrated and like 4% BF.

And some people have what I call 1 pack. Lucky you have at least 4. My cousin has a lot of bodyfat and a belly that needs some work out. With that, he is always wondering why he's not getting girls!

OP, I will need to see a picture if you want an accurate answer from me.

The top four are all that have ever shown. By the way, another poster submitted a bunch of photos showing various levels of body fat. The ex-NFL player Ray Lewis was documented at 7% and yet his torso looked like the models at 13-15% and 16-19%. So go figure. Maybe 100% of his 7% was confined to the torso.
