The way I understood it is that he "assumes I will be unattractive wearing skimpy shorts and sports bras"; and you said I attacked him, well I wasn't even talking to him in the first place, and he used the word "unattractive" towards me; will you consider that he also attacked me?
That stick in your bum must be really uncomfortable. I was less defending him and more pointing out how you came off.

He said what he said after you made your weird comment. And what he said was obviously a joke (and it was funny and clever). Which you again misunderstood. So I've considered it and I really don't think he attacked you at all. He was just making a wee joke. Don't be so insecure.

Then it's safe to assume that you can't stand every straight guy in the entire world.

People should exercise in whatever makes them feel comfortable -- not just physically, but mentally. If wearing lots of layers is what helps an overweight person feel comfortable with the idea of exercise, then pile on the layers! I know when I first started working out again, I felt like the biggest bumbling idiot while trying to jog and like my stomach was jiggling all over the place and I have a lot less weight to lose than a lot of people.

The point is the exercise, not the clothing -- so whether it's for religious reasons, body image reasons or no reason at all, I'm just glad when I see someone exercising, regardless of what they have on.

Its cause dummies who wear a hoodie in the heat think they will burn more calories cause they sweat more. Instead of pushing harder, they use extra layers of clothing to get more of a workout.
