This is what I wear to the gym. Mostly slim-fit t-shirts, but I like to break out the tanks sometimes too. But I feel perfectly comfortable in this outfit, don't feel as if my modesty is compromised at all. Because it is form-fitting (for practical purposes other posters stated) some gym-goers notice, they like the way I look and I receive a compliment or positive comment from time to time. I really don't see anything wrong with that. Human nature is what it is. Men look at women in the gym. Women look at men in the gym. Working out in baggy sweats, on a jogging path or at home is not going to change it. May as well appreciate the positive side of it.

A better question might be, why do men think women go to the gym to get hit on?

I'm sorry, but why should women always have to police their manner of dress to ward off male pick-up artists? Maybe, just maybe, guys should go to the gym to work out, instead of to hit on women.

I think women are sexy regardless of what they are wearing, even when they wear nothing. I know it's weird, but that's just the kinda guy I am. I love'em all.

I will say some do- and some very obessed with thier bodies,,, but at a "all women's fitness clubs" it is the same thing... I think its is a mind thing- the better the you look the more you want to improve. I bought several gym outfits to wear to the gym because NO matter where I go I feel better looking nice, I am 60 -OK- but the same thing to buy a real nice dress one size smaller and it motivates me to get in shape to fit nicely into it.. has nothing to do with a dude,, and I was 20----40 etc and it motivates all women to know they get admired,,, not necessarly picked up.

I think sometimes women's radar tells them it is sexy workout day at the gym because we guys are exposed to all sorts of "how much can I pop out my breasts" for examination. Last week it was sheer red spandex and black thong day. The good news is my T-levels went through the roof and I had a best day ever lift.

I wouldn't want to be around any women when working out. I don't care for Bally's and all that yuppy gym scene either. Er... they can be nice look gyms, but its more shine and glitz than one needs.

I'd rather be in some all male gay gym (I don't know if they exist but I wouldn't be surprised if they do) than in a co-ed gym with a lot of women in it. But I'm more Greco-Roman like.
You're on your own with that one man lol

Who knows why women dress that way. Why women disrespect themselves this way. If you look, then your a pervert...by the way, who can help it...its everywhere in your face. In today's generation, all women under 30 dress like they want men dog's lusting after them. Everyday, and I literally mean every day when I go to the store, gym or where ever, I see these spandex pants...that SHOW EVERYTHING. Women's response, "its comfortable." Really!?! Even this horny old man is offended by women's attire because the environment resembles a soft porn movie. I know I know, I can hear the responses now, you "pervert", "don't look", etc. Again, Really!?!

I get hit on even wearing long and big pants and shirts. It is not what women wear, it is how men think.

At my gym, this is much more noticeable with the men. Yes, the women do wear the tight black pants and sports bras, but at least they're quietly over in the cardio area minding their own busness. Some guys come in, chest puffed out, with half a t shirt on and their nipples exposed and then proceed to make all kinds of noises as they pump their iron and stare at themselves seductively in the enormous wall length mirrors, trying so hard to get some attention. This is much more of a white guy thing too. My gym is in beween neighborhoods, so is very racially mixed. The black guys (on average; not everybody, obviously) don't do this. I confess I do enjoy all the gym eye candy, but I try not to be creepy about it.
