Ed Whitlock ran 3:41:58 to set age 82 record today in Toronto, Hosaka misses age 62 record

82 year old Ed Whitlock, a Brit and retired mining engineer who now lives in Canada ran 3:41 in the marathon. 64 year old Yoshihisa Hosaka, Japanese health food entrepreneur, ran 2:50. Whitlock beat 60% of the male field. Hosaka was 70 overall out of over 3500 finishers.
