Many people that overexercise also have a dysfunctional-relationship with food......they burn lots of calories, so they can gorge, without gaining weight.

That was my point in the other thread. The addiction can be related to a psychiatric disorder such as body dysmorphic disorder Body dysmorphic disorder Overview - Mayo Clinic or on the other end of the spectrum narcissism.
