Today my options, as per my goals one step at a time, seem to be:

1) ride my bicycle 4.5 hours to donate blood plasma (I'm healthy, I need the money, I don't have a car anymore)

Then rest for a bit and if I have the energy after donating plasma, ride my bicycle 4 hours further north to attend my favorite yoga teacher's class. Sometimes this heavenly yoga class ends up with a hot n steamy love session with him after class which is what I live & breathe for lately.

It's raining outside all day long. A good day for a 150-mile bicycle ride? Probably not.

2) stay in bed? Pathetic. But I have been in bed the last 3 days, I suffer from depression when I'm not exercising vigorously.

What would you do with this Saturday if you were in my shoes?

So I'm leaning toward the plasma donation, skipping the yoga for today. Leaning toward being responsible. Need money to survive, and if I bicycle another 8 hours to see Him, I probably won't have the energy left for yoga or love.

Yoga with Him (oh if you met him you'd agree) is what keeps me motivated to keep living every day. He motivates me to keep going. Just imagining his face, his sincerity, his strength gives me one more ounce of strength to keep living.

Maybe I can see him next week.

I'd probably spend the day looking for a job so you could buy a car so you woulnt be relegated to riding a bicycle 8-10 hours a day.

I have two jobs. I've been sick for three days. My 2nd job hasn't paid me yet and my first job paid me yesterday which all went toward a licensing fee for my second job. All the suggestions I've gotten are to donate plasma right now.

I used to donate plasma back in the 70s, once a week $10.

Wow me thinks troll thread but here goes ....

After biking for 4.5 hours they will most likely NOT let you "donate" (you don't get paid to donate), plasma.

Then Bike 5 more just to get laid?

What type of license does this second job require it takes a first job to pay for it?

Not trolling. Dead serious about what I said but ended up staying home because carrying out any of those ideas seemed a bit overwhelming. But I did bike 78 miles on Tues to teach two yoga classes. It felt great. So I figured I'm capable of distances. Might as well make it part of my life.

True, "donate" isn't the right word when the lab does provide small monetary compensation for one's time & offering. And they base eligibility on weight & blood pressure. I would be sure to tidy up & calm down before presenting myself to the lab. My weight is 4lbs above their minimum requirement.

Please don't put it that way. This man is among the angels and I would contemplate doing anything within my power to attend his yoga classes when circumstances allow.

Massage therapy license for the state I live in. $140. Am training with a spa franchise but they can't officially hire & pay me until my license is official.

Its your choice, OP. Seems like you're in pretty good shape to bike the distances.

Don't they recommend not doing anything strenuous after giving blood/plasma?
