Saw this lady on the treadmill. She had it inclined pretty high. She was hugging the control panel as she was walking. I understand some people need the handles for support and safety, but hugging the control panel while on high incline? Really?

high incline is tough. How is that cheating??? Perhaps she was super hot and that set off some negative reactions.

It's dangerous. If you have to hug the control panel you need to lower the incline. Someone who worked there should have stopped her.

Cardio bunnies are not at the gym for proper form and an actual workout.

But I agree that someone (staff) should have said something. It's a safety hazard...

I would imagine she was still getting a good workout on her legs.

You can get a great workout just doing cardio. Not every workout needs to have weights. A combination of both is ideal.
I see people hugging the control panel on a high incline too. Its ridiculous IMO. Lower the incline and do not hold on, a much better workout.

Try pressing your logic button. Other users' opinions that the woman is using the gym equipment improperly has nothing to do with her looks. There is a lady at my old gym who did that also. She held onto the arms of the treadmill so tightly it looked like she was hurting herself. She used the treadmill this way every time-by squeezing the heck out of her arms and barely using her legs while on 15 incline and maybe 3 mph speed.

Yes, you can get a great workout doing cardio. But cardio bunnies usually have a certain look, and that look is a skinny fat look.
Which is a different topic in itself since everyone online is toned just from cardio or just so happens to naturally be in shape

But walking and coincidentally hugging onto the panel isn't exactly the epitome of agreer workout

Staff should have said something because she could have hurt herself
