The time I went sky diving really cleared out my stress.

Mountain climbing. I never grow bored of the feeling of accomplishment when finally making the top and looking down. Hard work with a fantastic reward.

For me it's boxing, both when training and in an actual match. The all-time biggest was when I got my first knockout. I was in control for most of the match, and that final punch was with pretty much all my strength, and when it landed I knew he was done. I was so excited that the ref literally had to push me to the neutral corner, as I forgot you have to do that for a knockdown, but when I finally got there, the ref didn't even bother with a count; my opponent was on his back and out cold, arms spread eagle.

Nothing compares to the endorphin rush right after deadlifting 500 pounds. Five reps of that is enough to make me feel euphoric for days. The male body actually releases massive amounts of testosterone from heavy lifting, which explains the effect.

So definitely lifting. High intensity cardio is a distant second. Long periods of steady state cardio is an even distant third.

running for me. Used to be zumba and similar types of dance-like workouts, but now I enjoy the most when I am being active outdoors. (Didn't try zumba outdoors though... Should I? )

Hiking a long, serious, difficult hike with large elevation gain. After hiking 7-8 hours, the weariness becomes euphoria, kind of like runners high. But runners high is sporadic and doesn't always occur. Hiking 16-20 miles is always euphoric, unless you get caught in horrific weather or it's excessively hot.

Martial arts training for me. Weights would be a distant second.
