Did you miss the part where I said I can't keep it on my nightstand, because my cats knock anything and everything off it at night?

Nope, it's staying on the bed.

I cannot keep anything on tables or counters, because my cats knock literally everything onto the floor. My 17 year old cat has taught my 3 year old well, because the young one knocks things off the top of the fridge too!

Well I'll never have to worry about that! My phone stays in the kitchen. I don't want anyone butt-dialing me or texting me and waking me up. The people that would need me in an emergency, have my house phone number.

It could cause cancer and damage brain cells too having your phone on your bed while sleeping. IJS FYI!

But good luck ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And I could get hit by a bus tomorrow. Or struck by lightening. Or have a meteor fall from the sky through my roof. Or have a car hit my house. Or have my cats conspire while I am sleeping to rip my throat out. Or have my cats trip me while I walk down the stairs, thereby causing me to fall and hit my head on the floor, sustaining a brain injury; however, no one will find me in time, because I live alone, and I will die. Or my dog will wrap his leash around my legs while I am walking him, causing me to trip and fall, sustaining serious injury while on a walk through a wooded area miles from my home. Or someone will attack me while out on a walk. Or a terrorist could strike some public location while I am there.

So....I don't worry about my phone on the upper corner of my queen bed while I sleep curled up smack dab in the middle of the bed!

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I keep the phone face down so the light doesn't bother me. I used to keep it in a seperate room to charge at night and used an alarm clock. Anyone remember those? Anyway, that broke so now I use the phone.

I also never sleep with the phone on the bed or in the bed and keep it on my night table.

Research has found that using your cell phone at night to illuminate the powdery crumbs that fall into the bed from eating a box of doughnuts will cause obesity.

Turn your phone off while you chomp down a half dozen in bed - this way you wont get fat from that sparkly little light.

Turn off your tv too. The light shining on that bag of Dorito remains covering your shirt is making you huge.

Oh, and don't go outside. Sunlight makes you enormous. Can't you see how many fat people are outside during the day?!

I put my cell phone on the charger in the living room overnight if it needs it. Otherwise, it goes in my purse. I turn it off at night always. If I need to wake up, I just tell myself when I need to get up, and I wake myself up. I haven't needed an alarm clock in 20 years or more.
