Walking: About 20 miles in the Army, while carrying a 12lb rifle and ~60-70lb ruck sack on my back, in combat boots. I don't remember how long it took but it was a long time. Never felt so exhausted up until then, especially since I was carrying over half my bodyweight at the time.

Running: Used to run around the base regularly also while in the Army. I measured it at right around 13 miles. Took about 2 hours usually.

Biking: I rode 70 miles once, on a mountain bike. My buddy and I wanted to ride the nearest mountain bike trails to us and neither of us had a car at the time (we were poor college kids), so we rode to the trail head, which was about 30 miles each way in addition to the 10 miles of trails that were there. When we finally made it back we rode straight to our favorite pizza place for some deep dish pizza. It never tasted so good! It hurt to walk for a week afterwards, though!

In a continuous stretch - 10.5 miles, for the local American Cancer Society Relay for Life. That was nice flat ground.

At DisneyLand - 14 hours. Wish I had thought to bring a pedometer that day.

Hiking - about 7-8 miles total (half uphill, half downhill)

Longest was about 20 km (13 miles) during a mountain hike in the Harz Mountains.
I've done longer trips by bicycle though, here my longest single day trip was 73 km (45 miles)

I don't think I've walked terribly far (compared to these posts---wow!) But I did ride a bike 125 miles in one day. The longest I've walked in one go is probably about 5 miles give or take a 1/4 mile.

I walk 3 miles each way to work every day, it takes about 45 minutes and helps me wake up in the morning. I feel physically off if I don't walk a decent distance (or get some sort of exercise) at least every other day.

The longest distance I ever walked was doing a Hut Traverse when I worked for the Appalachian Mountain Club. It's 50 miles over a number of mountain ranges in less than 24 hours, total elevation gain of about 16,000 feet. It took me 20 hours and 12 minutes.

13.5 miles is the most I've ever walked. 3 miles is the most I've ever ran.

Ran/walked 20 miles in high school. It was some kind of thing - I don't even remember what - where there were a lot of people doing it. It was a Saturday and it started in the morning. I did that and then showered and worked at the burger joint - my first job - that evening. I was sunburned and I could feel every single muscle in my body for several days after.

Well, most of us aren't counting random and fragmented indoor walking spread throughout the day in our numbers...
