That means I'd have to cancel.

I can't take the chance of somebody screwing up and/or stealing funds from my checking account.

Guess I could get some weights and work out at home, plus I have an old-fashioned Air-Dyne...lol.

I really don't see why a business would want to do things to alienate customers, but then again, the business world doesn't make a lotta sense to me.

It's been their policy for a few years. Possibly they've grandfathered in longer term members though or there is some kind of exception rule in play. New customers can't pay by credit card.

It's an absolutely ridiculous policy, that as an employee of a competitor, I am happy to mention to people thinking about signing up.

He has only been a customer for a few years.

I guess we'll see what happens. I don't think he'll go there anymore if he can't pay by CC either. His office just moved so maybe it'll be an excuse to join a new gym.
