Just out of curiousity.
Putting aside that these are all airbrushed models. If you look at the shape/ midsection on these girls:

Versus these:

Is it that the first ones are just a bit bigger, as in have more body fat than the second group? or is it their inherent build/ bone structure? Could someone with a body type like the first group ever be able to achieve the narrow torso and waistline like those in the second?

I have wide hips and pelvis, hipbones and ribs that are spaced far apart, and a very short waist that just goes in and out sharply rather than a smooth curve; and I was always jealous of girls with those super narrow torsos. Is it a matter of getting super lean and toned? Or just not going to happen no matter what?
No bashing please, I know it's a minor thing and only health matters blah blah, just curious

Other than the last gal in group #2 (who looks too thin IMO), there really isnt that much of a difference except for overall "hotness" which the girls in the first two pics of group #2 seem to have more of than group #1. The darker skinned girl in group #2 is beautiful. The others are just "meh". Most seem to be the "B" team as far as Victoria's Secret models go. Click on the link that takes you to the lingere pages instead of the swimsuit pages and you'll see women who look healthier and sexier.

What I was referring to is the waist/ midsection/ love handle area, which also seems to relate to pelvis width. The girls in the first group look noticeably 'thicker' through the midsection, with what looks like slight love handles, even though you can see they're very fit and by definition as models I'm sure are in fantastic shape. Which is why I'm wondering how much of it is just build and genetics, or is it fat..

From a man's point of view, number three is near perfect proportion wise.

The last two swing an eeny-weeny too much towards the skinny side for me. I like to see muscle tone.

I'm fairly certain it's the same girl in the first photos in each group.

The differences in those photos are literally negligible.

Looks like the women in the second group have longer torsos and possibly lower body fat. The women in the first group have the high hip bone/shorter torso thing going on, which can make the waistline appear thicker.

I was thinking something along these lines. The 2nd group seem to have thinner structure above the waist break, almost straight lined.

And just on my preference, which is really what judging looks is about, the first group appear healthier, for lack of a better word.

Post more pics. There's not enough info yet for me to give you an educated opinion.
