My typical weight workout is 6 exercises for 4-5 sets each with a couple supersetted. Typically takes around 45 min. Could be as long as an hour if it's the weekend. Weekdays I go before work so I need to keep my schedule!
As much as I tried, I couldn't work out for more than 25 minutes last workout, chest and tris.
I did all I could for chest and any longer would have been pointless and lead to injury.
I'm also the kind of person that doesn't like to sit around idle for long. Rest period between sets is less than a minute. Then rush off to next exercise.
hour, hour and a half when I lift weights....usually 3 days a week. 45-60 minutes when doing cardio....HIIT two days a week, and a long slow run on the treadmill on Saturday.
My gym is extremely popular, lots of eye candy girls in full makeup and trendy skin tight clothes to distract me, lots of dudebros lugging full gallons of water to navigate around. I'm not the biggest guy, but big enough that MOST people don't dare ask "how many sets you got left?". If there's 40 treadmills, 40 of them are occupied during peak hours of 5pm-8pm.
EXACTLY why I can't stand places like Gold's. Or a local gym in my neck of the woods called Export Fitness. Cardio machines are ALWAYS swamped. Free weight areas are ALWAYS swamped. Hotties walking around who are only interested in being seen. Douchebags sitting on benches staring at their phones for HOURS. Douchebags with bandanas tied on their heads. Douchebags with giant guts doing multiple sets of calf raises.

Ha! So do I! I tried a full body workout class at my gym recently. In 15 minutes I was sweating like a water buffalo. At that point I was only interested in trying NOT to sweat all over the hottie next to me. It was embarrassing. That was my last full body workout class.

I don't mind people messing around on their phones between sets. In fact some people use their phone to track their workout. It's the people that take up equipment for 10+ minutes while on facebook that annoy me.
Total of 1 hour, 10 minutes of that is cardio (hate it) and the rest weight lifting/machines.
I try to do either upper or lower body but often mix it up because I get bored. My breaks in between sets are very short, I don't want to waste any time or socialize.
I always work out alone and I will spend 1.5-2 hours doing both cardio and weight lifting with each session. I usually work on 1-2 body parts as well and go 5-6 days a week. I don't mess around on my phone either. I find the hardest part changing the weights in between sets.
