There are definitely people out there that can do this much weight. Nothing wrong with trying to maxing out and even failing at it (that's what the rack is designed to do--catch the bar if you can't get it). This idiot though didn't even secure the plates.
That guy looks nowhere near healthy enough to be tryin to lift that!
P.S. I did that exercise for the first time on Saturday morning (when I met with a trainer for a free session), with 35 lbs., and did 30 squats. Ouch, I am so sore right now, I can't even lift my leg up to the sidewalk without saying ouch lol.

I know, right? I figure maybe she figured I could handle it because I told her I've been working on the weight machines. I mean really, I did handle it and I do think this is normal soreness. But yeah, I started thinking what if I got injured, did I sign something saying I would not sue. Seems risky to have these random trainers who probably aren't all that much more knowledgeable than the average Joe having people lift such heavy weights when they are novices like me.

The plates took up the entire bar there was no way to secure them
