I'm feeling like changing things up and shaking things up around here.
So I thought it'd be a fun and quirky challenge to do the workouts YOU choose.
There are a lot of experienced, knowledgeable people here, and I'd like to get your input.
I propose for 30 days:
1. First person who posts for the day outlines the workout.
2. Workout can be strenuous and challenging but not take more than 2 hours (no marathons) or require special equipment (I have dumbbells, bench, pulley weights, bosu, jump rope, pull up bar, agility ladder, elliptical, and running shoes. I also have Insanity, p90x, and Body Beast if you wanna say do one of those.). Any workout not meeting those guidelines will be dropped and the next poster in line will dictate.
3. I'll report back each day. Any day I don't do the workout, I will donate $10 to my local animal shelter.
4. I need the workout in reasonable time and I work odd hours, so any day a workout doesn't come in by noon, I'm absolved.
5. I think it'd be fun if other people would like to join and chime in if they did it.

Can be and I hope it is as specific as:
Monday-
Run 2 miles
Jump rope X 10 minutes
3 sets x10 hammer curls
Etc, etc.
The animal shelter is not actually the one in my town but in a rural town that I made my pet project (NPI) some years ago. They have fewer resources.
Awesome. I'll post then. I won't mention weight. I may not mention reps. I post currently to 'what workout did you do today' started by a veggienut. But it's an easy cut and paste.
Good luck with that. It's tough enough to design my own workouts. It might be better if people can take a pic of a workout from their journal and post it here (because I hate typing up workouts). I mainly just go on bodybuilding.com and pick a workout for the next 6-12 weeks.

Tracy Anderson's Mat Workout (it's on YouTube ). It's how I started with the barre DVDs. One hour, only need a chair, light dumbbells, and a mat. Low impact but really effective at working auxiliary muscles. I use ankle weights now when I do it but it's not necessary to get a good workout in.
Bench
Cable cross over fly
Dips (weighted: either vest or belt)
In close decline bench
Squat
Warm up weight then increase to personal weight repeat 5 x to failure
No rest between exercise
45 sec rest between sets
10 box jumps (no rest) to personal max height (ex: I go 48 inches)
Ladder sprints
3 40's
3 50's
2 100's
2 40's
4 minutes abs, your choice (I do pikes and hanging windshield wipers)
Cool down 5 minute jump rope
3 minutes of status stretch and or yoga poses (warrior, balancing stick)
Total time 50 minutes
You got it. I forgot to say I do have a weighted vest.
Maybe I should also add a $100 donation to the charity of choice for the person whose workouts I do the most (in their name).
