Traps! I'm really more of a "functional strength" guy then bodybuilding isolation exercise guy but I'll do shrugs all day because I always like the look of guy that looks like he's wearing shoulder pads

I have a love/hate relationship with squats. Well anything that has to do with legs. But if I had to pick.... I say shoulder exercises if only because it the only muscle group were I saw quick results.

Yes but some more then others. Ask the 300 lb bodybuilder that can't squat or deadlift as much as 150lb power lifter

Bodybuilders are actually pretty strong. Ronnie Coleman was squatting 800 lbs for reps. Arnold was benching in the high 400s. I'm no fan of bodybuilding, but their strength is plenty functional. Strong is strong.

A 300 lb bodybuilder who can squat or deadlift 175% of his body weight would be able to outdo virtually any 150lb power lifter.

should but it's not often the case. There are strong bodybuilders because they do work on strength. The most popular example is Arnold who was a competitive power lifter as well as body builder. There are 150lb power lifters squatting well over 400lbs and deadlifting well over 500lbs.
