I posted in the journal section thought it might get a response here:
I recently has a stent placed into a coronary artery. Did not have a heart attack. I am walking 2 miles daily per MD recommendations. Planning to join the local club.
I have a fitbit watch and I try to walk 11,000 steps a day. For me that is 5.6 miles. I have several routes to walk and one includes about 3/4 miles of hill walking. At 66, I feel pretty good, except for my knees.
No stents, but I had triple bypass 3 years ago. Can't really walk very far because of degenerated lumbar discs, so I have to get my exercise in other ways. So I play golf ... walk as far as possible, ride the cart, then walk some more.
HA in 2017. stent saved me. 2 more later. lost 50 pounds and walk and bike. no problems. keep up the exercise, take meds and keep stress down. do a stress test regularly.

Thank you.
Putting it all together now. PT gives me stretching. Walking gives me cardio. Still tweaking the medications with MD.
