Is it still possible to get one of these? I am aware not too long ago they jacked up the prices of these and got hit with a class-action lawsuit but as far as I can tell they're not selling them anymore. I live near a 24HF Sport and will probably be here for 20+ years. I calculated that over the course of my life I'd be spending $10k+ on the 2-year memberships from Costco. Is that my only option aside from a monthly contract?

Maybe you should just march on down there to the 24hr gym where you live and ask them. Or, you can check their website. Think that will yield greater results than asking on chat board dont you think?

Honestly I have more faith in random strangers on the internet than a 24 Hour Fitness employee to know the answer to this question.

No, they don't have the lifetime membership anymore. I had one, got mad and refused to pay the new higher price. They cancelled my membership. Recently I asked them to reinstate me and they said no. The best deal right now is the Costco deal.
I just wish they had the chain in NM. My experiences with the smaller facilities has been poor
Yeah, even the worst 24HF/LA Fitness locations are still better than the smaller gyms.
