Do more cardio. Beefier guys don't like it, but that's the most effective way to stay lean if you're, what I like to call a "natural heavyweight." To me, if you can eat relatively healthy, be active and easily stay over 200 lbs, you're a heavyweight (boxing, MMA etc.), which means you need more cardio than the lean 170 lb guy that drinks protein shakes and desperately wants to add muscle. You have enough mass where I don't think you need to worry about losing it all.

While all you say is accurate, 10 sets of squats in 10 minutes IS cardio.
I only made 7.
Muscle increases our resting metabolic rate, no matter what body type one has.
So combining the 2 would be ideal.

While nuts are nutrient dense, they are also calorie dense. It’s easy to overdo nuts and eat way too many.

Agreed. A quarter cup of nuts is almost 200 calories. That's a small amount. The handfuls that people grab out of jars is closer to 1/2 cup per handful. Nuts are great, but that's a lot of calories for a small amount of food. A 1/4 cup of nuts will not do enough if someone is truly hungry. it's better to find something that has more volume.
