That is a lot of wine. 1-2 bottles a day?

What’s the saying exercise is only 20 while diet is 80%.

Between diet soda, snacks, fast food , preservatives, and corn syrup it’s a miracle that we’re living as long as we are.

The other big factor is that people might exercise more strenuously 3-5 times per week but then spend the majority of their day in more inactive activity than previous generations. So those times dedicated to exercise do not overcome a lifestyle that is sedentary outside of the structured exercise.

People are so driven today and more and more joint replacements keep the surgeons in their fine homes and lifestyles.

My parents lived into 90's and none of this nutty driven exercise stuff...and no replacements.

I danced and exercised a lot of my life and live with advanced arthritis to prove it.

I worked ortho-nursing for awhile and all the knees, hip replacements weren't related to people running or exercising. They were related to them being overweight usually.

Are you advocating against exercise? Exercise is what keeps my arthritis from crippling me, my blood pressure down and my blood sugar under better control.

Maybe your parents didn't "exercise" in the sense of doing structured workouts, but were they physically active? Did they take walks or do a lot of yard work and gardening, anything like that?

I've become less active....both in day-to-day physical activity and exercise. It's not like I am hobbled or anything.......just got sick of exercise, now I do very little. Most of my activities are sedentary.

I kinda pushed myself to eat a lot better quality foods/less junk and think about the amount of food I was eating. It just got to the point where I said to myself, you have to improve your relationship with food..........no, LOL, I do not need to eat a whole chicken for dinner.

Or just find a way to make food so repulsive for yourself, that it's down to supplemental vitamins and water to get by.
Limiting ones self to horrible smelling fruits like durian could probably help too. Eat just what you need then seal the odorous compound back up!!
Take the tasty aroma out of the food and the will to stay away from it is somewhat there.
