Where do you live? Is that Victoria Peak in Hong Kong?

Good news and bad news. I walk for at least an hour practically everyday. I run from time to time. It is terrible on my knees. I cannot do it often. Unfortunately, my diet is out of control. I am really disgusted with myself. I am going to use this thread to track my daily activities. I hiked for the first time yesterday and it was awesome. I hope to do it on a regular basis. I plan to learn to swim in the near by future.

My body is primarily concerned with diet. Here goes.

Walk is done. 1 h.r 6 min
I actually look forward to it. The scenery makes a huge difference. The park is beautiful.

No sweets and Chinese food except the small wonton soup I have in the fridge.

So, if you did nothing else but walk 10,000 steps a day, you'd lose a pound a week. If you watched the calories you put in your mouth, you'd likely lose even more.
Mine is synched with Endomondo I walk 10k at a brisk pace, about a 14-15 minute mile, and Endo calculates around 800 calories, wonder if it's accurate?

Good job on the 10k steps, 15k is a far as I have made it.

My diet was out of control too about 2 months ago. Even downed a carton of Ice Cream a night for some of those days.

Taking photos of myself and comparing them to when I was thin about a year ago was painful enough for me to put the brakes on my eating.

Keep up the good work

The quantity and availability of delicious, unhealthy food 24/7 in this country is a real problem. When someone, or several someones, had to spend literally hours cooking each meal, comprised mostly of healthy whole foods, and snacking wasn't a thing aside from the odd apple, mindless overeating wasn't a problem. Now it is. The struggle is real, and I feel your pain!
