It's a form of intimidation against other males. It's also a sign of vitality to a woman. Strong chest / well developed arms, etc.

A good physique is a well rounded physique and that includes the lower body; glutes, quads, hams, calves.

I'd much rather have a symmetrical physique, which I do, than to over develop one or two muscle groups at the expense of the others.

You know what women like in a guy? They like a guy who is intelligent and has a sense of humor and who listens to them. But . . . okay, this is the exercise forum. So what makes you so sure that women only like chest, biceps, and abs on a guy? You do know that many women don't like big muscles on a man, though I think it's safe to say that most women do appreciate a guy being in shape.

Men want a tapered look where the upper body is muscular and wider than the waist and the lower body. European cut clothes accentuates that athletic look. Should add that women prefer that look in men.

Yes but woman like all kinds of bodies. They like dad bods too. But there definitely are some women that like guys with big muscles. When I watched movies with guys like The Rock in them, I've heard the girls saying they dig it.
