Still I am not going to give up weight training simply because I have to rest a little longer between sets. So yeah, it might take me 15 minutes to get thru 3 sets and move on to my next machine. As we age, everything takes a bit more time to complete.
I hope you let others work in between your sets?

I bumped into this guy after I just got done completing my 5RM on bench press. As you can imagine, I was out of breath. He stepped aside from where I was walking and said "go ahead man". I continued to walk, and he said "You know its good to acknowledge people". I took my headphones out and said "What?"

He said "Good morning". I said good morning back.

WTF what a little b*tch. Hope I don't see him again

So, you bumped into the guy, did not acknowledge it by a “sorry”, but just walked on past and he’s the little *****? I guess because you were out of breath it’s fine to be rude...

No, I did not literally bump into him. I walked past him. But out of nowhere he just says "go ahead man" even though I did not know him, he was not in my way and I did not ask him to do anything.

Some people will do anything for attention. Play a stupid game, win a stupid prize.

15 minutes for 3 sets???? And you look at your phone??? Yes, you are, indeed, one of those annoying people. I don't care if you're 98 years old, that's too long. At the very least, get the hell up and walk around between sets if you plan on parking yourself there for what would amount to 4+ minutes at a time.

You do realize that a lot of people who work out have limited time to do so. I hope you are allowing people to work in because there is simply no excuse to sit on a machine for 15 minutes. Its no one else's problem that you cannot do your 3 sets in a timely manner.

I am.

Right now I'm fat. At 142kg, I get strange looks and stares whenever I'm doing cardio or lifting weights. It was like that 12 years ago when I was fat, prior to getting in shape. I give a dirty look to every single one of those people. That's why I nominate myself. Even the occasional person who smiles at me in their condescending way, as if to say "keep on trying you fat bastard, I respond to with a dirty look.

The person(s) who are so lazy they literally lay the 45lb plates up against the rack vs. re-racking the weights a few inches higher.

Also, the yoga master this a.m. who decided the space between 2 of the most frequently used cable machines was an ideal spot to plop down with his yoga mat and perform stretches for 45 minutes. It's simply unreal how clueless most people are.
