Once you get into an early a.m. workout routine your mind and body will both REQUIRE it every day and you'll immediately feel better once you get in there and get going. I have been working out in the mornings for probably 20 years now and on the days I don't workout I almost feel hungover - very grumpy, lethargic and my day seems to crawl along slower than when I get up and go workout.

Get into a routine, that's my best advice.

+1

I roll out of bed about 6AM, put on my workout clothes, start the coffee, stretch, then walk 1/2 mile while the coffee's brewing. Then I drink my 1st cup of coffee while doing my morning spiritual reading.
Then I jog/walk 1.5 miles followed by 20-30 minutes yoga and meditation. Then I shower and by about 9AM, I'm ready to drink a 2nd cup while checking email, social media, and news.
I usually get in another 2-4 miles walking throughout the day.

I always do that 1st 1/2 mile in the house. Don't have or need a treadmill. I put on slipper socks with gripper bottoms and circle throughout the house and hall. For the rest, I try to get outside but if the weather's bad, I'll walk/jog inside while listening to audiobooks or do a Leslie Sansone video workout or go to the mall or Sam's or somesuch.
